About The Black Swan

The Black Swan was established in 1847.  It is a rare example of early colonial architecture constructed of rammed earth (pise) with hand hewn hard wood beams, pressed tin ceilings, antique glass doors and windows. These original features coupled with excellent sound insulation, subtle lighting, comfortable furniture, air conditioning and open fires in winter, make the Black Swan an elegant, unforgettable venue for special occasions.

Binalong is 20 minutes from Yass, 60 minutes from Canberra and Young, and three hours from Sydney. It is 10 minutes off the Hume Highway – the main road from Sydney to Melbourne. See Map.
